Payment & Insurance



Intrepid Mental Wellness is not currently contracted with any insurance carriers. Payment for services is charged the day of your scheduled appointment to your card on file. Although IMW does not accept insurance plans, we can provide you with a "superbill" which is like a receipt for services. Some insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the bill, which can make your appointment more affordable. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company prior to obtaining services to see if submitting a superbill is an option and to answer any other questions you may have. 

We understand the stress that self-pay can bring, and try to be very conscientious of this and do not request unnecessary appointments. Clients frequently ask how often they need to be seen. This will vary from person to person, but in general if we are attempting to stabilize your symptoms, or if there are side effects to medications we usually request to see you every 4-6 weeks. Once you start feeling better and you feel you are in a better place with your mental health, we can space the appointments out every 3 months. Of course you are always welcome to come more often as well- this is all about YOU and helping you reach your mental health goals!



Psychiatric Medication Management Intake (Required) • 60 minutes

$300 • New patient evaluation

Provider Krystal Arney, PMHNP-BC treats ages 13 and up

Provider Dr. Jesse Maizels, PMHNP-BC treats ages 18 and up


Follow-Up Medication Management Appointment 

$150 • Follow up, 30 minute appointment

$300 • Follow up, 60 minute appointment
